Pilipinas, Tara Na! Version 3.

In 2003, the Department of Tourism embarked on a domestic tourism advocacy campaign titled, “Wow Philippines, Biyahe Tayo”, which is popular for its music video which involved 21 Filipino artists including the likes of Sharon Cuneta and Lea Salonga, who lent their time and talents to help promote domestic tourism. This video was seen on television, heard through the airwaves and is, until now, touching the hearts of many Filipinos and foreigners alike, here and around the world through YouTube.

This year, to encourage more Filipinos to travel and discover the many wonders of the country, the DOT is embarking on a domestic tourism campaign titled, “Pilipinas, Tara Na!”, which is essentially a follow up to the successful “Wow Philippines, Biyahe Tayo”.

Someone named Ivan Henares commented on the video and he said”

“Great video!”

But please correct the following for a more accurate MTV:

1. Mansion ng Silay but Silliman University in Dumaguete is shown.OK

2. Lumang simbahan ng Paoay but Laoag’s sinking belfry is shown.

3. Vinta ng Zamboanga but you have images of the paraws of Boracay.

4. Boating sa Loboc but you show shooting the rapids in Pagsanjan.

Galing ng observation mo Ivan, ito ay pagpapatunay na nalibot mo na halos ang Pilipinas. Samahan mo akong manghikayat ng mga tao na iPromote ang ating Tourism. Mabuhay ka at sana madami pa ang magtravel tulad mo.
